Feminist theories (of epistemology):
Thinking Borders: Gender Examinations of Rationality, Objectivity and the Knowing Subject
Context: Magazine for Gender and Science
A specialized quarterly dedicated to the issues of gender and science and their interlinks. Major theories of the past thirty years build precisely on specific contexts and emphasize the importance of context for generating knowledge. Science is an integral part of this process. Owing to the position science has carved out for itself over the centuries it sets the framework against which the society defines itself. However, it is also a product of social forces clashing in societies, and thus reflects such social realities. Since gender is one of the most important structuring variables of our lives, it has an impact on the gender structuring of science.
Other research topics:
Work-life balance in the Science
